Making a Difference

The Monadnock Region is home to a strong tradition of neighbors helping neighbors.  Making a Difference celebrates the people who continue this tradition to support health and wellbeing for everyone in our communities, and illustrates that generosity and giving come in many forms.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Spotlight tells the stories of the ways individuals, organizations, and businesses share their time, talent, and resources to make a difference in the health and wellbeing of our neighbors in the communities we serve.

We live here, we give here.  Cheshire Health Foundation offers events, funds, and programs to allow you to express your generosity in the way that inspires you.

Volunteering is a work of heart. The Volunteer Program at Cheshire Medical Center represents generations of dedication and giving.   They range from high school and college students learning the value of service, to local community members taking time from their busy lives of work and family to give back, to retirees who take pride and joy in continued purpose. No matter the motivation or inspiration, we are very grateful for the service of all our volunteers. If you are looking for an opportunity for connection and to give back through supporting our patients and staff, contact Meredith Lynch, Director, Department of Volunteer Services at or (603) 354-5499.
